Your Impact As Shift Supervisor, you'll ensure production operations run smoothly and efficiently, maintaining quality standards and driving team performance to support Accelevation's rapid growth. Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Coordinating unloading of deliveries and incoming shipments Verifying shipment accuracy against purchase orders and invoices Inspecting goods for damage, shortages, or quality issues Ensuring proper documentation of received inventory Maintaining accurate inventory records in warehouse management systems Communicating with vendors, carriers, purchasing, and warehouse teams Resolving discrepancies, damaged goods claims, and delivery issues Organizing and optimizing receiving dock operations Enforcing workplace safety procedures and compliance standards Training new receiving employees and monitoring performance Scheduling staff shifts and managing labor productivity Monitoring inventory flow to avoid bottlenecks or delays Ensuring proper labeling, tagging, and storage of materials Maintaining cleanliness and organization of receiving areas Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) such as receiving accuracy and turnaround times Using warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts and pallet jacks Preparing reports for management on receiving activities and inventory status Supporting continuous improvement initiatives for warehouse efficiency and coordinate the activities of production workers Ensure that production schedules are met and that products meet quality standards Train and develop production staff to improve their skills and knowledge Monitor and maintain inventory levels of raw materials and finished products Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies Collaborate with other departments to improve production processes and efficiency Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Knowledge of manufacturing machine equipment Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
