2nd Shift Fabrication Supervisor 🚨 Are you an experienced leader with a background in mechanical construction or fabrication? Our client, a leader in the construction industry, is seeking a dedicated 2nd Shift Fabrication Supervisor to oversee and guide a skilled team of fabricators, pipefitters, welders, and mechanical installers. In this key supervisory role, you will:
  • Lead and manage daily workflows, ensuring productivity targets are consistently met.
  • Conduct daily safety meetings to promote a culture of safety and compliance.
  • Mentor and train crew members to enhance their skills and maintain high-performance standards.
  • Supervise fabrication and installation of piping, ductwork, and mechanical systems including HVAC, chilled water, and condenser water systems typically used in data centers and industrial projects.
  • Review blueprints, isometric drawings, and fabrication details to guarantee precision and adherence to quality standards.
  • Coordinate closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to align schedules and resources for smooth project execution.
  • Maintain rigorous quality control by inspecting work, ensuring compliance with company standards, specifications, and local codes.
  • Support commissioning and turnover activities to ensure systems meet all operational requirements.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school certification preferred.
  • OSHA 10 certification mandatory.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in mechanical construction or fabrication within commercial, industrial, or data center sectors.
