Primary Responsibilities :

Lead the plant inspection and quality control department for Cosmo's plastic molding and assembly operations, including:

• Oversee and direct the daily activities of the Plant QC department, including in-process and final product inspection.
• Supervise and manage plant QC department personnel, including hiring, training, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
• Prepare and maintain internal quality documentation and records.
• Participate in root cause investigations and corrective actions to resolve quality issues relating to non-conforming product.
• Perform gauge calibrations per schedule
• Perform product inspections as needed

Minimum Requirements :

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a quality control supervisory role in a precision manufacturing environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with a variety of precision inspection tools and gauges.
• Ability to read complex two-dimensional technical part drawings.
• Plastics molding experience preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with an attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

This position requires the ability to perform close visual work, including inspection of parts, documents, and computer screens, and the ability to distinguish colors, markings, and visual defects. These functions must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.
