The Production Group Leader is responsible for team safety; building and motivating teams; delivering quality to the customers. Promotes, educate, communicates and follow up on safety initiatives and culture Create a highly engaged team Supervise medium/large team in production environment Responsible for ensuring proper training, development and evaluation of team members to promote highly effective teams. Lead Global Manufacturing Systems processes and serve as a resource supporting launch and pilot activities Improve the body shop operations through problem solving and continuous improvement initiatives Maintain a good working relationship and communicate across all team members and departments Achieve Safety, People, Quality, Responsiveness, Cost, Environment key performance indicators supporting the Business, Plan, Deploy (BPD). Meet first time quality metrics and Built in Quality (BIQ) IV requirements Complete administrative tasks such as timekeeping and maintains departmental records and reports. Meet production cost schedules by supporting Production's ability to 'Build in Station." Ability to work any shift and overtime as required Excellent organization, written and oral communication skills Foundational knowledge of GMS / Lean Manufacturing Strong interpersonal skills Ability to handle multiple priorities Ability to coach/mentor/develop team members Shifts 1st
