Job Description

Supervisor / Team Lead (2nd Shift) We are seeking experienced Supervisor / Team Leads to oversee sorting, inspection, and rework operations within an automotive manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for leading teams on the floor, ensuring quality standards are met, maintaining safety compliance, and coordinating shift operations. The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, safety-focused, and able to lead by example in a fast-paced production setting.
Pay Rate:
Up to $24.00/hour, depending on experience
Shift:
2nd Shift - Monday-Saturday (Sundays and 10-12 hour shifts as needed ) Key Responsibilities Oversee containment operations, including labor management and inspection of customer products at assigned workstations Lead teams by example while maintaining organization and strong housekeeping standards Ensure all employees work safely and comply with health and safety policies Immediately report accidents, incidents, or safety concerns to management Coordinate pre-shift start activities, including table setup, materials, and paperwork Ensure end-of-shift responsibilities are completed, including auditing paperwork, time sheets, and communicating with the incoming Team Lead Confirm appropriate tools, materials, and resources are available for job completion Provide on-the-job training and communicate new work instructions as needed Maintain accountability for all personnel assigned to specific jobs Provide performance feedback and recommendations to Supervisors or Managers Report any policy or procedure violations Support and comply with all company health, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required (Associate's degree or higher preferred) 3+ years of supervisory or team lead experience preferred Prior experience in an automotive manufacturing environment strongly preferred Forklift certified or several years of forklift operating experience Ability to work overtime, extended shifts (10-12 hours), weekends, and Sundays as required Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 lbs Basic math skills required Experience with Microsoft Office products preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain procedures and instruct others Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks independently Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently Work Environment & Expectations Manufacturing / production environment Fast-paced, quality-driven operation Strong emphasis on safety, accountability, and leadership presence Reliable attendance and transportation are required IND2
