Established in 1929, Weaver Eggs is a family farm founded and based in Versailles, Ohio. We actively seeking a reliable and hardworking problem solver to join our processing team in Versailles, Oh as an Egg Processing Supervisor. The position is responsible for managing processing facility, ensuring product quality, maintaining safety standards and leading a diverse team of employees. A successful candidate is a hands-on working manager who will play a critical role in optimizing plant operations, food safety and achieving operational goals.

Lead a diverse team of employees to maintain quality standards, through effective training, coaching, personnel scheduling and operational efficiencies. Manage daily plant operations, including egg processing and shipments to meet schedules and quality standards. Address and resolve operational issues, such as equipment malfunctions, processing delays, or quality deviations, promptly and effectively. Work with the maintenance department for repair, and calibration of plant equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. Take a proactive approach to issue resolution including root cause analyses and error proofing controls related to down time. Manage inventory tracking and work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and address any supply chain issues.

Must be flexible, goal-orientated, results-driven, focused, and have the ability to meet goals and deadlines on a consistent basis. Previous food plant experience is highly desirable. Training for egg specific equipment would be provided. Prior experience in a lead or supervisory position preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels of the organization both written and verbal; includes building relationships with team lead and department managers. General Mechanical aptitude. Be able to perform basic arithmetic problems involving addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and job-related internet research and the ability to learn for daily usage. Strong organizational, prioritization and problem solving skills with focus on attention to detail. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment completing objectives efficiently with a sense of urgency and responsibility. Understand, practice and enforce safe work practices related to the following: fall protection, control of hazardous energy (lockout/tagout procedure), fire protection systems, electrical safety, forklift/hoist operation, welding, cutting, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and employee "Right to Know."Interested candidates are encouraged to apply online at www.weavereggs.com.
