Job Description
The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day manufacturing operations while ensuring a safe and productive work environment. This role monitors quality assurance processes for all components produced, works closely with maintenance personnel to ensure proper equipment operation, and partners with Human Resources and management regarding employee relations, training, and workforce development. The Production Supervisor is also responsible for accurate employee timekeeping and enforcing company policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily manufacturing operations and ensure worker safety at all times Monitor and maintain quality control standards for all components produced Enforce plant policies, procedures, and workforce rules Provide leadership, training, coaching, counseling, and corrective disciplinary action as needed Assist employees with problem-solving and operational issues Work closely with maintenance supervisors to ensure proper equipment performance and operation Maintain positive union relations by following and enforcing the collective bargaining agreement Ensure accurate and timely timekeeping for all assigned employees Shift Availability Ohio Star Forge currently has an opening available on afternoon schedule. Shift placement and training schedules may vary based on business needs and operational requirements.
