Job Description

Primary Responsibilities Supervise daily shift operations including production, planning, and shipping activities Drive team performance to meet or exceed production and shipping goals Promote and enforce a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all safety procedures Lead, coach, and motivate employees to perform at a high level Maintain accurate production, inventory, and shipping records Conduct team meetings to communicate updates, policies, and operational goals Job Duties Monitor production workflow and make real-time adjustments to staffing, priorities, and processes to meet operational targets Track and manage employee attendance, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with company policies Enforce proper use of PPE and ensure adherence to HSE, quality, and operational standards Coordinate with cross-functional teams to maintain alignment across production, inventory, and shipping activities Maintain production efficiency and quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and work instructions to support production activities Support operational needs across multiple areas of the facility as required Work overtime or varying shifts as needed and travel occasionally (less than 10%) Perform additional duties as assigned Education and Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent is preferred Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment required Demonstrated experience supporting or leading production teams or processes preferred Working knowledge of production operations, inventory control, and shipping workflows required Ability to operate and work with computer-controlled equipment and manufacturing systems Forklift certification preferred Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills in a fast-paced environment Proven reliability, strong attendance, and ability to work effectively in a team setting Ability and willingness to work night shift required Ability and willingness to learn new processes and be cross-trained across multiple functions Veterans Welcome At NOV Fiberglass Systems, we value the dedication, discipline, and skills that military veterans bring to the workforce.
