Job Summary The Steward Supervisor is responsible for training, follow up, disciplinary action of said crew, coordinates daily orders of all supplies to the kitchen, and receiving, storage and rotation of product. Responsible for banquet food and equipment transport, set up, replenishment and breakdown. Coordinates Stewarding team in assigned areas, schedules, evaluates, and makes recommendations for pay raises. Originates disciplinary action forms, enforces Eldorado policy where applicable, and assists in management of waste control, quality control, and sanitary conditions. Turns in reports, turns in schedules and all paperwork on time as assigned, and reports all accidents in writing immediately. How You Will Create the Extraordinary Responsible for the proper cleaning and sanitizing of all the following: chinaware, glassware, silver and stainless steel tableware, cooking utensils, pots and pans. Operate dish wash and glass wash machines properly Properly set up pot sink with sanitizing/cleaning agents Identify all dishes, glasses and flatware Properly transport and store dishes, glasses and flatware Assist in kitchen sanitation including trash removal, keeps floors clean, dry and safe Assists in kitchen operations as requested Monitors dish machine temperature, chemical levels throughout shift Maintains productivity of ware wash machine Constantly checks for OSHA and HAACP compliance What You Will Need Must have the ability to provide our guests with excellent customer service, have excellent communication skills and observation skills Easygoing demeanor to ensure a fun and safe environment for our guests and employees Must be able to operate a floor stripper and polisher
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma or equivalent preferred 1-3 years similar setting Certified Food Management Certificate Working with equipment where being safety conscious is required May be exposed to tobacco smoke. May be exposed to cleaning chemicals and compounds Must be able to sort, write and count in English. Must be able to push/pull 250 pounds unassisted Must be able to lift and carry 100 pounds unassisted Must be able to tolerate repetitious hand/arm/wrist movements. Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, squat and work overhead. Must be able to grasp objects. Must have the ability to shift back and forth between 2 or more activities in a timely manner and the ability to complete each activity Mobility and stamina to stand all day
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS
: Working with equipment where being safety conscious is required. Working in area where liquid and grease spills may occur. Working in a high stress environment. Environment with occasional crowds and accompanying noise levels. May be exposed to tobacco smoke. May be exposed to cleaning chemicals and compounds. Atmosphere generally warm and moist due to cleaning activities in the areas.

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS
Must have the ability to provide internal/ external guests with service excellence, have excellent communication skills and observation skills, and have an easygoing demeanor to ensure a fun and safe environment for our guests. Above average speech - both speaking and reading/writing English. Need excellent interpersonal skills. Work requires schedule flexibility which may include days off, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
