Job Description

Job Description:
Play a key role in the efficient production of commercial HVAC products. Responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling production activities. Facilitate timely completion of tasks while upholding the highest standards of safety and quality in accordance with relevant codes and industry best practices.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinates and directs team members regarding the activities that need to be performed. Oversees quality control processes to ensure products meet established standards. Enforces safety policies and procedures to maintain a secure work environment. Reviews and analyzes reporting results to identify areas for improvement. Ensures work is completed according to priority, budget constraints, quality standards, and deadlines. Manages inventory to ensure employees have all necessary materials, supplies, tools, and equipment parts. Provides training and cross-training opportunities for employees to enhance skills and versatility. Identifies and develops potential leaders within the team. Evaluates employee performance and provides feedback on areas of strength and improvement. Administers performance improvement plans as needed to address underperformance. Maintains a satisfactory work attendance record and works cooperatively with others. Collaborates with other departments to streamline workflows and optimize production processes.
Education and Experience Requirements:
A minimum of HS graduate/GED. Education beyond the minimum is an added advantage for career development activities. 3-5 years of demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in a production or manufacturing role.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Attend or conduct production meetings as required. Ability to build a successful team by building an environment of trust. Troubleshoot any issues that may arise. Excellent organizational skills. Strong attention to quality detail and good decision-making. Communicate effectively and possess excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
Certifications:
First Aid and CPR. Leadership Training Courses.
Required for some positions:
RCRA certification (hazardous waste management), DOT, and 608 Universal Refrigerant.
Work Environment:
Ability to work in manufacturing facilities and regularly be exposed to varying and extreme temperatures, loud noises, dust, chemical fumes, sharp metal objects and heavy forklift traffic. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb, stoop, walk and sit for prolonged periods of time during working hours.

Pay Range:
$89,458.00 - $121,031.00
