Position Summary Shed Plant Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily production operations within the department across Wilcox Hard Boiled operation. This role is critical to supporting continued production growth, maintaining operational efficiency, and ensuring smooth plant startup, sanitation turnaround, staffing coordination, and shift transition management. The supervisor will provide leadership during key operational windows, particularly during sanitation, pre-operational inspections, startup activities, and shift changeovers. This position supports the department's strategy of operating machine lines across a five-day production schedule while maximizing maintenance opportunities and minimizing the need for Saturday production. Reports to Operations Manager This position is responsible to lend technical support and oversight to daily activities associated with Production, Processing, and Warehouse Department of multiple food processing facilities. Responsible to evaluate and to maintain the quality standards and systems as set forth by customers, company, governmental and auditing agencies, regarding the manufacturing and processing of products. Helps maintain training of departmental employees, ensures adherence to established company performance goals and objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Understand each plant supervisor/leads role at multiple food processing facilities and be able to execute this role if needed to cover vacation or leave of absents Maintain compliance with quality assurance programs (HACCP, BRC, Certified Humane, etc.), policies and procedures relative to plant, customer and governmental and auditing agencies for all Wilcox Farms facilities. Travel to remote locations as needed in Oregon, Washington and Montana Assist Plant Managers in developing employees through effective training program and hands one assistance Problem-solve and troubleshoot operational issues and supply suggestions to Senor Processing Manager and Plant managers to drive improvements. Stay abreast of developments and trends in manufacturing for application in department; recommend changes in policies and procedures as appropriate.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Strong situational leadership skills to influence all levels of the organization within the plant location. Experience with quality assurance programs, policies and procedures relative to food processing, customer and governmental and auditing agencies is preferred. (e.g. SQF,BRC,ISO, HACCP, Animal Welfare Programs) Capable of building strong relationships with Operations leaders in order to effect change. Self-starter to lead change and make independent and informed decisions. Personal traits--progressive, adaptable, flexible, high-energy, mature, strong interpersonal skills. Analytical, trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills to assess needs, understanding issues, and identify improvement opportunities. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills to represent site continuous improvement activities. Bi-lingual in Spanish and English would be a plus PC skills; Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and other applicable applications such as Microsoft Project, etc. 1-3 years' experience in manufacturing environments, Food processing experience preferred. 1-3 years in Supervisor or leadership position.
