Description Key Responsibilities & Duties:
Lead the operations of the powder coat department, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery. Lead and manage hourly team members, providing direction, support, and training as needed. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, providing training as required. Uphold and enforce company policies and practices fairly and consistently. Monitor and ensure adherence to internal and external quality standards. Communicate effectively with direct reports, management counterparts, and external contacts. Evaluate, manage, and motivate direct reports, fostering a high-performance culture with a focus on continuous improvement. Drive results in a lean manufacturing environment to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs. Responsible for hiring within the department, ensuring the best-fit candidates are selected.
