Floor Supervisor Berwick, PA 2 DAYS AGO 22479502 Summary Berwick, PA In-Person $24.00 - $28.00 per Hour 2 Years Experience High school graduate or equivalency certificate (GED) No Commission 40.00 hours per week / Day Shift / Full-Time Description AFC Industries PA, Inc. a manufacturing company located in Berwick, PA is seeking a Floor Supervisor to join our team. We are a recognized leader in the design and manufacture of Ergonomic Interactive Technical products for various industries. Our customers include Medical/Healthcare, Public Safety/Mission Control, All Government Agencies, IT and Financial Corporations. The Floor Supervisor will work both independently and collaboratively within a team. As the Floor Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising daily assembly operations, ensuring production goals are met, and maintaining high quality and safety standards. This role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and hands-on supervisory experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a team of assembly technicians. Coordinate workflow to meet daily and weekly production targets. Train, mentor, and support team members in assembly processes and safety procedures. Ensure quality control standards are consistently met. Communicate effectively with other departments, including quality assurance and production planning. Monitor and maintain inventory of assembly materials. Identify and implement process improvements. Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
Prior supervisory or lead experience overseeing a team of at least 2-3, in a manufacturing or assembly environment is required. Ability to interpret and create technical documentation. Familiarity with assembly tools, equipment, and procedures. Strong leadership and team-building skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently. High attention to detail and a commitment to quality. High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certifications a plus. Hours First Shift- Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
