The Plastek Group is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor to oversee and coordinate activities of workers engaged in assembling parts or assemblies into units by performing the following duties: Duties Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignments. Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations. Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assigns duties. Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules. Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product. Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, and or work crew. Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems. Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals. Maintains time and production records. Estimates, requisitions, and inspects materials. Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments. Sets up machines and equipment. Reports machine and equipment malfunctions to maintenance personnel. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Detail oriented Possess strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well with others Ability to motivate Be self directed and self motivated Leadership/supervisory skills Effective problem solving abilities Team player Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience/Background 3-5 years in related field Plastics and product knowledge Computer Literacy Reading and interpretation skills. Effective written and oral communication skills Basic math Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Interaction management.
