You will be trained in the necessary skills, equipped with the required feedback to grow, and will be compensated for the skills you develop. We are seeking a Lead Welder for 3rd Shift . As the Lead Welder, you will be responsible for supervising a small group of production team members on 3rd shift. This team member will still be responsible for standard daily duties in the department as assigned. As a Lead Welder at Robinson Fans, you will be responsible for welding most equipment fabricated onsite. This includes our fans and their housings. Each weld takes precision and skill. Our welders are critical to ensure our industrial fans meet the high-quality standards our customers are accustomed to getting. You will be responsible for fostering collaboration and maintaining a high level of productivity. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and the ability to drive results. This position plans and assigns work, implements policies and procedures, and recommends improvement in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions. The schedule for this position is Su-Th from 11:00pm-7:00am. What You'll Do Review project assignments and instructions from Team Leader Review drawings and welding details for each job Obtain an understanding of the task and develop an action plan Set up welding machine and other required equipment Weld assemblies per the required standards Implement the existing manufacturing strategy and production schedule as required under the guidance of the General Manager and/or Shop Supervisor. Identify opportunities for process improvement or efficiency optimization. Implement quality and safety standards in conjunction with the Safety and Quality Managers. Lead, develop and direct the work of 3rd shift teammates including Welders, Assemblers, Machinists, Laborers, Maintenance Technicians and Steel Fabricators. Manage the 3rd shift employees' time and attendance through Paycor. Make recommendations on personnel decisions that may impact departmental planning and procedural change. Participate in meetings to review and examine project completion, obstacles, problem resolution, timelines, recommendation, and delivery of results. Minimize downtime. Remain current with industry technology, processes and practices. Other duties as assigned. What You Bring Must have, as a minimum, five (5) year(s) experience with Mig, Tig and Flux Core High School diploma or GED required A "can do" attitude and a willingness and desire to build your skills as a Lead Welder and to coach and mentor other Welders Ability to consistently produce high-quality welds on all fabricated components Ability to pass

if applicable Read and understand Robinson weld detail drawings, welding procedures, and shop travelers. Fluent in English, working with written and verbal communication.
