Souderton, PA About the Role We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead daily production operations within a high-volume meat processing/manufacturing environment . This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for supervising production employees, driving safety and quality, meeting production goals, minimizing downtime, and ensuring the operation runs efficiently and consistently. The ideal candidate has a strong background in meat processing, food manufacturing, or protein production and has demonstrated success leading teams on a production floor. Key Responsibilities Supervise and lead daily production activities within a meat processing/manufacturing facility Direct, coach, and develop production employees while maintaining a positive, accountable work environment Ensure production schedules, productivity goals, and customer requirements are consistently met Monitor production processes, staffing, yields, downtime, and overall operational performance Maintain strict compliance with food safety, HACCP, USDA, GMP, and company quality standards Promote a strong safety culture and ensure employees follow all safety policies and procedures Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, throughput, labor utilization, and product quality Troubleshoot production issues and work closely with Maintenance and other departments to minimize downtime Ensure proper staffing and employee assignments across production lines Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback Maintain accurate production records and required documentation Enforce company policies and procedures consistently Partner with Plant Management and other department leaders to achieve overall facility goals Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in meat processing, food manufacturing, protein production, or a closely related manufacturing environment 2+ years of supervisory or management experience Proven experience leading employees in a fast-paced production environment Strong understanding of production processes, food safety, and quality standards Experience working with HACCP, GMP, USDA, and/or SQF standards Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to lead from the production floor and effectively manage competing priorities Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends or extended hours when needed
