Job Description

Hiring for a 2nd shift Production Supervisor!
Job Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead our second-shift operations in a thermal management manufacturing facility. This role will oversee a team of production employees and ensure quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery. You will play a key role in training, coaching, and building a strong team as the shift becomes fully operational.
Schedule:
2nd Shift (Monday-Thursday, 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM, 9/80 schedule)
  • Immediate Interview availability Key Responsibilities Supervise daily production activities for a team of 6-8 employees on second shift Coordinate machining, assembly, welding, brazing, and soldering operations to meet production goals Hire, train, and develop production team members to support shift growth Approve payroll timecards and complete performance evaluations for direct reports Ensure product quality through inspections and adherence to procedures and specifications Maintain accurate production documentation, including travelers and inspection records Troubleshoot production and process issues while improving efficiency and workflow Promote a safe, clean, and organized work environment while enforcing safety standards Required Skills & Qualifications Associate's degree OR 2-5 years of manufacturing experience (or equivalent combination) Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment Hands-on experience with machining, assembly, welding, or fabrication processes Experience with brazing and soldering in a production setting Knowledge of quality control, inspections, and manufacturing documentation Strong communication skills and ability to lead and motivate a team Basic computer skills (Windows systems for reporting and timekeeping) High attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or GED (if no degree) Experience working with thermal products or precision manufacturing components Background in industries such as aerospace, military, medical devices, or HVAC Experience training or mentoring production employees Familiarity with structured manufacturing processes and documentation systems Strong problem-solving skills and continuous improvement mindset Why Join Us?

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
