OVERVIEW

Lead and own second shift production for a busy structural steel fabrication operation.

DESCRIPTION

You will lead production employees, assign labor, manage daily priorities, and keep the operation on schedule. You will own safety, quality, productivity, labor efficiency, and on time delivery for your shift. This is a hands on floor leadership role with approximately 80 percent of your time spent directly in production.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will oversee welding, fabrication, sawing, punching, blasting, powder coating, and robotic welding operations. You will identify bottlenecks, address production issues, improve workflow, and hold the team accountable for results.

SKILLS:

• The right candidate brings 3 plus years of production supervision and 3 plus years of metal fabrication, structural steel, welding, machining, or related manufacturing experience.
• You should be comfortable reading blueprints, tracking production KPIs, scheduling work, assigning labor, and working with ERP or manufacturing systems.
• Experience with Lean, 5S, continuous improvement, or multiple metalworking processes is a strong plus.
• This is an opportunity to take ownership of a complete second shift operation and directly impact safety, productivity, quality, and output.

Pay:

$80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Experience:

Metal fabrication: 3 years (Required)

Welding Operations:
