Job Description
Production Supervisor, Manufacturing Olyphant, PA | $65,000 to $72,000 Per Year This manufacturing facility in Olyphant, PA is hiring a Production Supervisor to lead a night shift production team. The role is responsible for overseeing daily production operations, managing team performance, and ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards. Schedule Night shift. Compensation $65,000 to $72,000 per year, based on experience. What You'll Do The Production Supervisor leads and supervises a night shift production team, managing task assignments, tracking performance, and handling attendance to keep operations running smoothly. This person oversees production line activities, confirming equipment is functioning properly, quality standards are met, and production goals are achieved on schedule. The role monitors and reports on key performance indicators to meet shift level quality and delivery targets, and initiates corrective actions when standards are not met. The supervisor facilitates employee training and development so team members have the skills needed to meet operational standards, conducts regular performance reviews with constructive feedback, and supports a coaching based approach to team development. This person also contributes to operational planning by evaluating shift level performance and resource availability, coordinates shift handovers, and manages personnel schedules. The role requires maintaining compliance with GMP and supporting 5S and continuous improvement methodologies across the production area. Required Qualifications Vocational or associate degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment Strong leadership, organizational, and problem solving skills Experience assessing employee skills and coordinating training efforts Strong communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of an organization Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and resource management Solid understanding of safety procedures and compliance standards Familiarity with production equipment and technical operations Preferred Qualifications Prior supervisory experience on a night shift or off shift production team Hands on experience with Continuous Improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar) Familiarity with 5S workplace organization standards Experience in a GMP regulated manufacturing environment Compensation and Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401k plan Paid time off Additional benefits to be confirmed with employer To apply , submit your resume for consideration.
