Install Division Manager Position Summary The Install Division Manager leads all installation operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on time, and profitably. This role oversees production, scheduling, job costing, quality control, customer communication, team development, and overall division performance. The position combines strategic leadership with hands-on operational management and is responsible for driving revenue, profitability, customer satisfaction, and team success. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Operations Lead and manage all installation projects from handoff through completion. Develop production plans, schedules, staffing strategies, and operational goals. Monitor division performance and implement improvements to increase efficiency and profitability. Coordinate with sales, design, and administrative teams to ensure smooth project execution. Production & Project Management Manage schedules, crew assignments, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and production priorities. Ensure projects are completed according to scope, budget, timeline, and quality expectations. Monitor job progress and make adjustments to maintain productivity and profitability. Manage change orders and project documentation. Financial Performance Own division revenue, gross profit, labor efficiency, and job cost performance. Review budgets, labor hours, material costs, and production metrics. Forecast workload, staffing needs, and production capacity. Support accurate invoicing and project closeout processes. Team Leadership Recruit, train, coach, and develop field leaders and crew members. Establish accountability for safety, quality, productivity, and professionalism. Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews. Foster a positive, respectful, and results-driven culture. Quality & Customer Experience Ensure all work meets quality standards and customer expectations. Conduct regular job-site inspections and project reviews. Communicate proactively with customers and internal teams regarding project status and issues. Resolve concerns quickly and professionally. Safety & Asset Management Enforce safety policies, training, and job-site compliance. Promote safe equipment operation and responsible use of company assets. Coordinate equipment, vehicle, material, and fleet needs to support efficient production. Key Performance Indicators Revenue and gross profit performance Labor efficiency and job costing Schedule completion and backlog management Quality and customer satisfaction Crew productivity and accountability Safety performance Employee development and retention Documentation and billing accuracy Qualifications Strong landscape installation and production management experience. Proven leadership of crews, supervisors, or production teams. Knowledge of job costing, budgeting, scheduling, and project management. Ability to read plans, scopes of work, and project documents. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Proficiency with software, spreadsheets, and mobile technology. Work Environment This position requires regular travel to job sites and outdoor work in varying conditions. The role may require extended hours during peak production seasons. Expectations Act as the operational leader of the Install Division by anticipating challenges, protecting profitability, developing people, communicating effectively, and ensuring successful project execution. Pay:
