Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Lead to oversee daily manufacturing operations within our production facility. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate and supervise production activities, ensure adherence to safety standards, and drive continuous process improvements. Your leadership will inspire teams to meet quality, efficiency, and safety goals while maintaining a high level of craftsmanship. Candidates should have 2+ years leadership experience working in a beverage or food manufacturing environment and possess many of the same qualities as outlined above. Schedule- Schedules consist of 12 hour shifts and candidates must be flexible to accommodate schedule changes based on customer orders and operational needs. Duties Lead and manage assembly line teams, ensuring smooth workflow and optimal productivity. Interpret and implement production documents, technical drawings, and process specifications accurately. Utilize measuring instruments, hand tools, power tools, and forklifts to facilitate mechanical assembly and manual handling tasks. Enforce safety standards in accordance with safety protocols, including heavy lifting procedures and equipment operation. Conduct regular inspections of manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for process improvement and waste reduction through lean manufacturing principles. Coordinate with quality assurance to maintain high standards of product quality and compliance with safety standards in production. Oversee the proper use of measuring instruments and technical tools to ensure precision in assembly and manufacturing tasks. Qualifications Proven experience in factory or manufacturing facility environments, with a strong understanding of production processes. Hands-on experience managing or supervising production or assembly teams within a manufacturing setting. Mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to interpret technical drawings and manufacturing documents. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, forklifts, measuring instruments, and other technical equipment. Familiarity with lean manufacturing techniques, process improvement strategies, and safety standards in production environments. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely while adhering to safety protocols. Strong organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
