The Materials Supervisor -2nd Shift will lead and manage 2nd shift hourly materials team including material handlers , crib attendants and detail/high-rise. Ensure timely material availability in support of manufacturing operations Support daily site level second shift turnover and parts review. Analyze commit compliance for critical material and identify risks to production schedules and customer delivery Maintain material organization and flow on the shop floor to support safe, efficient, and compliant operations Provide input to Delivery Assurance regarding manufacturing inhibitors and recovery Collaborate regularly with Quality, Supply Chain Procurement, Operations, Finance, and Engineering teams CORE (Pratt & Whitney Operating System) principles and champion Lean manufacturing initiatives Support continuous improvement efforts across value stream operationsWhat You Will Learn:
How integrated production control and material planning support complex aerospace manufacturing Application of CORE (Customer Oriented Results and Excellence) and Lean manufacturing principles within a forge and disk environment Cross-functional collaboration across supply chain, quality, operations, and engineering teams Methods for identifying and mitigating delivery and material flow risks Leadership development through managing teams in a high-performance manufacturing settingQualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 2 or more years of experience in a manufacturing, materials, operations management, quality, or engineering environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office products Experience supporting production or manufacturing operations Understanding of Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies Experience working with cross-functional teams in an operational environmentQualifications We Prefer:
Prior people or team lead/supervisory experience Experience leading or participating in Kaizen events or structured continuous improvement initiatives Understanding of internal and external customer requirements Experience with SAP or other manufacturing or materials management systems Strong attention to detail when resolving operational or delivery issuesLearn More and :

Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines. As part of our commitment to maintaining a secure hiring process, candidates may be asked to attend select steps of the interview process in-person at one of our office locations, regardless of whether the role is designated as on-site, hybrid or remote. The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
