Job Summary:
The Production Supervisor will oversee daily manufacturing, managing staff, workflow, quality, and safety to meet production goals efficiently, handling scheduling, troubleshooting, training, reporting, and ensuring compliance with standards for a specific line or area. They act as a key link between management and workers, driving performance and continuous improvement on the production floor. Essential Functions of theJob:

Staff Management:
Supervise, coach, train, and develop production teams Staffing, scheduling, timekeeping, and performance reviewsProduction Oversight:
Organize workflow, assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure production goals and schedules are metQuality & Efficiency:
Maintain quality standards, identify bottlenecks, suggest improvements, and implement cost-saving measuresSafety & Compliance:
Enforce safety procedures, maintain a safe work environment, and ensure adherence to regulationsProblem-Solving:
Resolve issues on the production floor, coordinate repairs, and liaise with other departmentsReporting:
Prepare summaries and reports on shift performance, output, and progressSupervisory Responsibilities:
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of all hourly operations personnel.Minimum Qualifications:
Previous supervisory experience in a production/manufacturing setting Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Knowledge of production planning, equipment, and relevant safety standardsPreferred Qualifications:

This position will be at the SunOpta Plant in Omak, WA. This Plant is a 24/7 operation with 3 shifts. Shifts will rotate to include both 2nd and 3rd shift as needed.
