This role involves overseeing the structural aspects of maritime construction projects, ensuring that all structural components are designed, implemented, and maintained according to industry standards and project specifications. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in maritime structural management, blueprint reading, and project supervision, contributing to the successful delivery of complex infrastructure and building projects. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects while utilizing advanced construction management software and technical tools. Responsibilities Lead the planning, coordination, and supervision of structural construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project timelines. Interpret and review detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute structural designs. Manage project scheduling using Primavera P6 or HeavyBid to ensure timely completion within budget constraints. Oversee quality control processes, including inspections and adherence to OSHA standards, to maintain high safety and quality benchmarks. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues related to structural components. Monitor project budgets, track costs, and prepare estimates using construction estimating software. Supervise construction site teams, providing guidance on best practices in concrete work, steel framing, and other structural elements. Ensure proper use of construction management software for documentation, progress tracking, and reporting. Review contracts and manage procurement processes related to structural materials and equipment. Conduct routine site inspections with tools such as ohmmeters for electrical systems integration within structural frameworks. Skills Extensive experience with construction site management and supervision of structural projects. Proficiency in construction management software including ProCore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and other relevant tools. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating techniques. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and quality control procedures on construction sites. Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately for effective implementation. Skilled in budgeting, project scheduling, and managing multiple stakeholders effectively. Hands-on experience with construction site equipment such as ohmmeters for electrical testing. Excellent leadership skills with proven supervising experience in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of contracts management and procurement processes within the construction industry.
