Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Assembly Supervisor to lead production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring team members are engaged, production goals are met, and safety and quality standards are consistently maintained. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a problem-solving mindset, and experience in assembly or manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities Coordinate with supervisors and team leads to prioritize staffing and meet daily production schedules Train and coach employees to ensure procedures and quality standards are followed Monitor production lines to ensure efficient and stable operations Identify and report issues related to quality, equipment, materials, or labor Collaborate with leadership and support staff to resolve production challenges Maintain and enforce standard work procedures Track and update production metrics and communicate updates to the team Support continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing efforts Promote and sustain 5S and workplace organization standards Participate in day-to-day production activities as needed Follow all company policies, procedures, and quality system requirements Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Complete required documentation for operational and regulatory compliance Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Minimum of 2 years of related manufacturing or assembly experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience) Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals Strong verbal and written communication skills Proven problem-solving and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Preferred Qualifications Previous leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices IND2
