Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Supervisor to oversee manufacturing operations during the first and second shifts. In this pivotal role, you will lead food production teams to ensure compliance with food safety standards, quality assurance protocols, and regulatory requirements. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement initiatives, maintain safety standards, and uphold the highest levels of efficiency in a fast-paced food processing environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence quality standards and foster a culture of safety and excellence within our manufacturing facility. Duties Supervise daily production activities, ensuring adherence to FDA regulations, HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), and other food safety standards. Manage and coordinate food processing operations, including packaging, sanitation, and equipment maintenance, to meet quality standards in production. Lead, motivate, and manage production teams by providing clear managerial communication, training, and performance feedback. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal standards related to food industry manufacturing practices. Monitor production metrics through SAP (Systems Applications and Products) or similar ERP systems to optimize workflow efficiency and product quality. Implement continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing safety standards in production, reducing waste, and increasing productivity. Conduct regular safety audits, sanitation inspections, and quality assurance checks to uphold food safety management protocols. Qualifications Proven experience in food production or manufacturing management within the food & beverage industry. Strong knowledge of FDA regulations, HACCP principles, CGMP guidelines, and food safety management systems. Demonstrated ability to manage production or assembly teams effectively in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) software used in manufacturing environments. Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to lead teams towards operational excellence. Basic math skills for measuring, calculating yields, and analyzing production data. Knowledge of sanitation procedures, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), packaging processes, and safety standards in production environments. Experience working within a food processing plant or similar facility is highly preferred.
