Full-Time, Exempt Overview We are seeking a hands-on, results-driven Production Manager to lead our manufacturing operations in Greer, SC. This role oversees all shift supervisors and is responsible for driving safety, quality, productivity, and employee development across the entire operation. This position serves as the acting leader of the facility in the absence of the General Manager and requires flexibility to support all shifts as needed. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership and direction to all shift supervisors and production teams Oversee daily manufacturing operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals Serve as the on-site leader when the General Manager is unavailable Ensure effective communication and alignment across all shifts (in-person and digital) Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen events Develop and coach supervisors and emerging leaders Manage labor utilization, workforce planning, and production scheduling Resolve production constraints related to staffing, materials, or equipment Monitor and improve key performance metrics (productivity, quality, and cost) Support hiring, performance management, and employee development planning Promote and maintain a safe and compliant work environment Qualifications 5-7+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment Proven experience managing production through metrics and team leadership Experience leading multiple supervisors or shift leadership teams preferred Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles (minimum 1 year) Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Hands-on, team-oriented approach with a strong sense of accountability Technical or business degree preferred Work Environment & Expectations Must be flexible and available to support all shifts as business needs dictate Regular presence on the production floor in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Ability to stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 45 lbs What We Value At Ultrafab, our leaders demonstrate: Integrity, accountability, and initiative Strong team orientation and communication Flexibility and a sense of urgency A passion for continuous improvement and people development Why Join Us?
