Rotating Shift Position Summary :
The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production goals are achieved safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company quality standards. This role provides leadership, coaching, and direction to production employees while promoting a culture of safety, teamwork, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily production activities. Lead, train, coach, and develop production team members. Monitor workflow, staffing levels, and production schedules. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Investigate production issues and implement corrective actions. Track and report productivity, quality, and attendance metrics. Conduct performance evaluations and provide employee feedback. Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, and Operations teams. Promote continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain accurate production records and reports. Participate in hiring, onboarding, and disciplinary processes. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required; higher education preferred. 3+ years of manufacturing experience with supervisory experience preferred. Strong knowledge of production processes, safety practices, and quality standards. Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with machinery, noise, and varying temperatures. Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
