Full Job Description Position:
Grading Foreman General Expectations:

Responsibilities:
Plan daily for labor, equipment, tools and material needs. Follow the required work plan for the activities being performed. Complete work plans as directed and assure the crew is not idle. Communicate with supervisor om daily work assignments and advise when the activities are completed and there is need for additional assignments for the crew. Coordinate with crew, other Foremen and Superintendents to complete required tasks as a team. Complete the Crew Daily Reports as required. Track crew hours, equipment hours, material and quantities on a daily basis. Perform daily JHA's and Toolbox Safety Talks with crew(s). Hold crew accountable to work safely and assure PPE is utilized as required. Communicate layout requirements as needed in advance of scheduled work. Assist Superintendents and PM with 3 week lookahead schedules and work planning. Understand the production requirements of the work. Assure daily equipment inspections are completed and submitted to management team. Pre-plan utility locates and assure project is accurately marked prior to starting work. Coordinate with inspectors as needed. Coordinate with the Project Engineers to do a QC inspection of the work as it is being performed to avoid rework. Execute pre-pour checklists in advance of major pours. Inspect formwork, clearance, rebar, mix designs and other plan and specification requirements. Coordinate with Engineers on Plans and Specifications for the work being performed.
Requirements:
Basic abilities to use and or learn MS Word, Excel, also (COINS Systems). Willing and able to manage crews. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Self-starter and ability to work unsupervised. Team player and self-motivated to be successful. Travel required. Legally able to work in the US. Valid Driver's License.
