II-1. General Description 1) Lead painting and injection molding production activities to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets. 2) Manage production operators and line leaders while driving continuous improvement initiatives. II-2. Key Roles and Responsibilities 1) Painting & Injection Production Management
- Manage daily painting and injection molding production operations.
- Monitor and improve production performance related to Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Morale (SQCDM).
- Ensure compliance with standardized work, process parameters, and production procedures.
- Support production readiness and stabilization activities during new program launches.
- Coordinate manpower allocation and production resources to maximize operational efficiency. 2) People Management & Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop production associates, line leaders, and technicians.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide regular feedback and training.
- Manage attendance, discipline, overtime, and workforce planning.
- Promote a safe working environment and enforce company policies and procedures. 3) Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement
- Drive continuous improvement activities using Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Analyze production data and implement corrective actions to improve OEE, scrap, and productivity. 4) Equipment Reliability & Downtime Management
- Monitor and improve equipment performance and uptime for painting and injection molding production lines.
- Collaborate closely with Maintenance and ME teams to ensure rapid recovery and root cause analysis when equipment failures or production interruptions occur.
II-3. Job Requirements II-3-1. Work Experience 1) 5+ years of experience in automotive painting, injection molding, or manufacturing operations. 2) Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred. II-3-2. Education 1) Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred. 2) Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement training preferred. II-3-3. Knowledge Skills and Abilities 1) Experience with automated painting systems, robots, conveyors, and ovens. 2) Understanding painting and injection molding processes. 3) Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. 4) Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, OEE, TPM, and continuous improvement methodologies. 5) Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions. 6) Familiarity with IATF 16949, safety, and environmental requirements.
