2nd Shift (Full-Time) 2:30 pm - 11:30 pm Opportunities are expanding at Custom Tool. The company is seeking a motivated 2nd Shift CNC Supervisor to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC machinist who is ready to take the next step by developing their leadership, supervisory, and technical skills while helping lead a high-performing manufacturing team. Custom Tool manufactures precision-machined components for customers across a variety of industries. Quality, reliability, and on-time delivery are essential. We are looking for high performers who are not satisfied with status quo. The individual selected for this position will excel in ensuring production up time, understanding and monitoring automated processes, applying cutting tool technology, supporting metrology and part inspection, and providing hands-on leadership in daily production activities. This is a hands-on supervisory position requiring direct involvement with advanced CNC equipment and highly technical manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will lead by example, providing technical guidance, troubleshooting production issues, supporting operators and machinists, and ensuring that quality, productivity, and delivery expectations are consistently met. Success in this role will require leadership by example, a strong work ethic, effective communication skills, and a commitment to personal growth, team development, and continuous improvement. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience (setup and operation required). Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and use precision measuring equipment. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Experience with multi-axis machining is a plus. Benefits Competitive pay based on experience.
