Job Description
Clune Services is seeking an experienced Fencing Foreman to lead our fencing division in the field. This position requires a motivated leader who can effectively manage crews, communicate with customers, coordinate materials, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. The ideal candidate is highly organized, takes ownership of their projects, leads by example, and understands that quality workmanship and customer satisfaction are non-negotiable. This is a working foreman position that requires both leadership and hands-on involvement in daily operations. Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team Management Lead and supervise fencing crews on residential, commercial, and agricultural projects. Establish daily goals and expectations for crew members. Maintain a productive, positive, and professional work environment. Train, mentor, and develop crew members to improve performance and efficiency. Hold employees accountable for attendance, workmanship, safety, and professionalism. Lead by example through strong work ethic, integrity, and accountability. Project Planning & Execution Review project scope and develop a plan for successful completion. Coordinate labor, equipment, and materials to maximize productivity. Ensure projects are completed according to company standards and customer expectations. Monitor progress daily and adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines. Identify and resolve issues before they impact production or customer satisfaction. Customer Relations Serve as the primary point of contact on the jobsite. Communicate professionally with customers throughout the project. Conduct site walkthroughs and address customer questions or concerns. Represent Clune Services with professionalism and integrity at all times. Materials & Logistics Plan and coordinate material needs for upcoming projects. Verify quantities and ensure all materials are available before work begins. Coordinate deliveries and maintain communication with suppliers. Maintain accountability for company tools, equipment, trailers, and inventory. Safety & Quality Control Enforce all company safety policies and procedures. Ensure work is completed correctly and efficiently the first time. Conduct routine quality inspections throughout the project. Maintain clean, organized, and professional jobsites. Promote a culture focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Administrative Responsibilities Complete daily reports and project updates. Track labor hours, production, equipment usage, and material consumption. Communicate project status and potential challenges to management. Assist with scheduling and planning future work. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of fencing experience preferred. Previous leadership or foreman experience preferred. Strong knowledge of residential, commercial, and agricultural fencing systems. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong organizational, planning, and time management abilities. Ability to read plans, layouts, and project specifications. Ability to make sound decisions and solve problems independently. Ability to operate equipment and pull trailers safely. Valid driver's license required. Reliable transportation. Must pass a pre-employment drug screening. Must successfully pass a criminal background check.
