Job Description

PRODUCTION LEAD
Monday - Thursday 8:30 pm - 7:00 am $23.99 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
To lead the shift, progressively driving shift performance and contributing to the overall success of PPE To provide an excellent service to our internal and external customers, ensuring clear & concise communication including job status updates To consistently achieve & exceed KPIs respective to their shift in terms of efficiency, quality, and safety Report issues that arise on the shift, ensuring the Production Manager is aware of obstacles that stop the shift from meeting targets or any behavior issues that may occur on the shift Work alongside other Production Leads to ensure a consistent message is delivered on key communication items Conduct shift handover meetings with the other Production Leads to ensure alignment on priorities and KPIs Conduct daily start up/shift end meetings with the shift to prioritize daily jobs/tasks and ensure everyone has what they need to be successful Assist with the improvement in performance, ensuring that best practice is shared across the wider manufacturing group Build higher levels of rapport with individual team members ensuring that the shift team is engaged and, where issues are identified, work with the Production Manager resolve problems Assist the Production Manager in feeding into the overall departmental training plans, ensuring feedback is clear and concise to the individual operators, setting expectations accordingly Assist the Production Manager in the development of members of the team in order to raise overall skill level within the organization Communicate to the Production Manager any staffing needs or disciplinary issues with regard to company policy
JOB REQUIREMENTS HS
diploma or GED preferred Six months prior experience in the manufacturing and environment Prior experience leading teams, with demonstrated problem-solving abilities Previous experience running machinery Must be able to read and write English Must understand basic manufacturing math
