What You'll Do As a Shift Supervisor, you'll lead your team to produce the highest-quality wood pellets safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively: Lead, coach, and develop your production crew. Drive safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Set and maintain shift standards for quality, productivity, and housekeeping. Monitor shift performance and implement improvement initiatives. Administer personal development programs for team members. Operate and oversee green in-feed, dryer, hammer mill, kiln, and pellet mill systems. Keep accurate production logs and downtime records. Monitor quality tests and correct root causes of deviations. Be cross-trained to relieve all positions and cover absences. Support the Production Manager with additional tasks as needed. What You'll Bring 3'5 years leadership experience in a fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment (wood pellet experience preferred). Strong ability to motivate, coach, and mentor a team. Excellent communication skills and adaptability in leadership style. Continuous improvement mindset and problem-solving ability. Experience with manufacturing troubleshooting and delegation. Physical ability to walk/stand 80% of the time, lift 50 lbs, and move between buildings.
