EMBROIDERY PRODUCTION MANAGER 33

Ink is a fast-growing, screen print and embroidery shop in Carrollton looking to add a key embroidery production manager to our team. The Embroidery Production Manager is responsible for helping make our client's embroidery dream's come true through high quality work and attention to detail.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work in a leadership role overseeing all aspects of production
• Effectively run and oversee the embroidery production process as it regards to:
• Pre-production (digitized file setup, sew outs, garment confirmations, etc)
• Embroidery production
• Post-production (oversee cleaning, packouts, polybagging, etc.)
• Manage the embroidery production in all regards of
• Order timelines
• Workflow
• Systems and various procedures
• Staff task scheduling
• Staff managing
• Shop cleanliness
• Schedule jobs to maximize efficiency and meet deadlines
• Advise owners and leadership in effective embroidery practices
• Set embroidery, approval, and systematic standards that are scalable
• Must have a firm understanding of and experience in various embroidery techniques including 3D Puff, metallic threads, tackle twill and patches that are sewn/embroidered on
• Lead quality control
• In partnership with owners, hire and train new embroidery production staff
• Contribute to positive 33 Ink culture
• Take a leadership role in the company that's rooted in teamwork
• Work in a leadership role overseeing all aspects of production
• Ability to learn new techniques, receive training and feedback
• Guarantee accuracy, placement, and keep spoilage at a minimum
• Perform consistent quality control
• Ensures that the work area is neat and clean to provide a professional and safe working environment
• Other duties not listed above to be required
• Responsible for working independently on assigned tasks but part of a healthy team
• May be required to highlight areas of concern and make recommendations for process improvements

EXPERIENCE

5+ years experience with Barudan and/or Tajima Embroidery machines 5+ years experience in a Production Manager (or equivalent) role Experience with Printavo or equivalent print/scheduling software

LOCATION

• 33 Ink
• 1728 Trinity Valley Drive, Carrollton, TX 75006 SCHEDULE
• Full-time, hourly
• 40+ hours, weekly
• Work shift: 6:30am-3pm Monday to Friday (A lot of Overtime Available)

BENEFITS

• Starting pay from $22

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Strong work ethic
• honest and dependable
• Able to work in a fast paced environment
• Must be able to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
• Must have high attention to detail and quality focused
• Ability to bend and lift approximately 50 pounds repeatedly
• Applicant must have reliable transportation and flexible working hours as needed
• Friendly and positive attitude that treats the company and fellow employees respectively
• Bilingual is a must with fluent English speaking and understanding
• Basic to Advanced Digitizing knowledge is a big plus
• Ability to handle routine maintenance on machines is a plus
