Duties Supervise and coordinate welding and fitting activities on construction sites, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety standards Lead a team of welders and fitters, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to optimize productivity and quality Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication shop drawings to accurately plan work sequences Oversee the use of measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and measuring tapes to ensure precise fabrication and assembly Manage the operation of various welding techniques including FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding), and gas metal arc welding to meet project requirements Ensure all welding activities comply with American Welding Society (AWS) standards and safety protocols Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to facilitate smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks Maintain detailed records of work performed, inspections conducted, and safety compliance for accountability and quality assurance Skills Extensive construction site experience with a strong understanding of site safety procedures Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and mechanical blueprints for fabrication projects Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, machining equipment, plasma cutters, and other fabrication tools Expertise in welding techniques including
FCAW, MIG
