1st Shift Production Supervisor - Corpus Christi, TX James Avery Craftsman, Inc. - 4.4 Corpus Christi, TX Job Details 1 day ago Qualifications Team leadership Manufacturing facility Managing manufacturing teams Manufacturing company experience Full Job Description Job Summary Plans, organizes, and supervises a team of manufacturing associates within designated manufacturing facility. Responsible for assigned teams' performance measures to focus on operational key performance indicators (KPIs).
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Ensures production output targets for team are met. Ensures that Product Launch objectives of the assigned team are met. Responsible for assigned technicians' and section leaders' work for safety, quality, and productivity. Engage teams to drive results focusing on operational KPI's. Responsible for assigned Manufacturing Technician and Section Leader evaluations, counseling, disciplinary actions, etc. Participates in the company's Quality Management System (QMS) program and partners with other department leaders in developing recommended actions. Develops subject matter (process and equipment) experts within the team. Demonstrates a strong sense of ownership and urgency while managing multiple priorities.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Associate's Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. 3 years of applicable technical experience in a manufacturing environment or similar work. Supervisory or leadership experience. Proven ability and experience leading teams independently. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge and experience with ERP or similar systems. Knowledge with inventory control systems. Experience with Lean Manufacturing (leading a Kaizen Event). Experience with Microsoft Office.
