Job Description

Primary Responsibilities Responsibilities of the production team supervisor include, but are not limited to: Developing and implementing safe work practices Providing direction and coordinating activities relating to production Providing leadership to meet/exceed established operational expectations and goals Evaluating manufacturing equipment for safety and functionality Ensuring finished products meet quality standards Performing complex problem solving while championing continuous improvement Training and developing new team members Behavioral Profile The ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive, proactive approach to the safety of themselves and others. They should maintain the highest standards for personal and professional ethics and have the savvy, knowledge, and personality to coach and mentor others with a "lead by example" approach. Critical skills include interpersonal communications, conflict resolution, problem-solving, prioritization, and time management. Detail orientation, self-confidence, emotional maturity, and a sense of urgency are also important. Job Qualifications To be considered for this position, candidates must possess high-school diploma or equivalent, stable employment history, and experience working in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Computer proficiency is also required. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in manufacturing, with at least 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
