Manufacturing / Fabrication Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Fabrication Lead to oversee day-to-day fabrication operations and help ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with punch presses and brake presses and metal fabrication, along with the ability to lead and support a production team. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate daily fabrication activities to meet production schedules and quality standards. Set up and operate punch presses and brake presses to form and bend sheet metal and other materials. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work orders, and fabrication specifications. Inspect completed work to ensure dimensions, quality, and tolerances meet requirements. Troubleshoot equipment, tooling, and fabrication issues as they arise. Assist with training, coaching, and directing fabrication team members. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Coordinate with production, engineering, and other departments to keep projects on schedule. Perform hands-on fabrication work and assist the team as needed. Follow company safety procedures and quality standards. Qualifications Previous experience in metal fabrication or manufacturing . Strong hands-on experience operating and setting up press brakes . Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and blueprints. Experience with measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers. Previous leadership, lead, or supervisory experience preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Ability to work independently while effectively leading a team. Commitment to workplace safety and quality. Preferred Experience CNC press brake experience. Experience with sheet metal fabrication. Experience with additional fabrication equipment such as shears, punches, saws, or other CNC machinery. Experience working in a production/manufacturing environment.
