Monday-Friday Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Commercial & Industrial Piping & Fabrication Superintendent to oversee field and fabrication operations for commercial and industrial construction projects. The Superintendent will provide hands-on leadership to piping, pipefitting, welding, and fabrication crews while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and according to project specifications. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily piping, pipefitting, welding, and fabrication operations. Lead and coordinate pipefitters, welders, fabricators, helpers, and subcontractors. Plan daily manpower, materials, equipment, and work assignments. Read and interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, spool drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Oversee pipe fabrication, fit-up, welding, installation, pressure testing, and system turnover. Monitor crew productivity, workmanship, and project progress. Coordinate work with Project Managers, General Contractors, Engineers, QA/QC personnel, inspectors, and other trades. Ensure work complies with project specifications, applicable codes, and approved drawings. Enforce company and project safety policies and maintain a safe jobsite. Identify and resolve field conflicts, material shortages, scheduling issues, and manpower needs. Coordinate material deliveries and ensure crews have the necessary tools and materials. Conduct daily planning and crew meetings and communicate project priorities. Track labor hours, production, and progress. Assist with scheduling, forecasting, punch-list work, commissioning, and project closeout. Maintain professional relationships with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and project personnel. Qualifications Strong knowledge of pipefitting, pipe fabrication, welding, and mechanical construction. Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, blueprints, spool drawings, and specifications. Proven ability to manage multiple crews and coordinate several work activities. Strong understanding of construction safety and jobsite procedures. Excellent leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and make sound field decisions. Basic computer and documentation skills. Preferred Experience Industrial plants and manufacturing facilities Process piping Commercial mechanical construction Welding and fabrication Pressure testing and hydrostatic testing System flushing and commissioning QA/QC documentation OSHA 30 or equivalent safety training What We Offer $35
