Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in food manufacturing or industrial production is required for this position
Education:
Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Food Science, Business, or related field (preferred)
Language:
Bilingual (English and Spanish) is required to communicate with clients and staff
Driver's License:
Not required for this position
Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older per policy
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety regulations
  • Leadership and team management experience
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment
  •  Exposure to heat, noise, and production machinery
  •  Industrial food production environment
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Occasional lifting (up to 30-40 lbs)
  • Ability to work on the production floor regularly
Duties:
 The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations in a food production facility, ensuring efficient production, high product quality, and compliance with food safety standards. This role leads production teams, optimizes processes, and ensures production targets are met safely and cost-effectively
  • Plan, organize, and supervise daily production operations
  • Ensure production targets, quality standards, and deadlines are consistently met
  • Monitor and improve production efficiency, yield, and waste reduction
  • Enforce food safety standards, including HACCP, GMPs, and sanitation procedures
  • Supervise and train production staff, including supervisors and line workers
  • Coordinate with maintenance, quality control, and warehouse teams
  • Monitor equipment performance and schedule preventive maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations and company policies
  • Analyze production data and generate reports for management
  • Control labor costs, materials usage, and production budgets
  • Identify process improvements and implement best practices
