Production Manager - Dry Cleaning & Laundry Plant Dry Clean Super Center - 3.4 Euless, TX Job Details Full-time | Contract $15 - $20 an hour 14 hours ago Qualifications Moving Organizational skills Training & development Root cause analysis Leadership Full Job Description Dry Clean Super Center s is seeking an experienced, hands-on Production Manager to lead daily operations at our central dry-cleaning and laundry production plant. This is not a desk-management position . We are looking for someone who understands garment production, can lead and train employees, maintain quality standards, improve productivity, and personally assist in production when needed. The Production Manager will be responsible for moving garments through the plant accurately, efficiently, on time, and quality standards . Key Responsibilities Production Management Plan and manage daily dry-cleaning and laundry production. Organize work based on due dates, store requirements, routes and rush orders. Ensure garments move efficiently from receiving/scanning through cleaning, pressing, quality control, assembly and bagging. Monitor production throughout the day and prevent bottlenecks. Ensure orders are completed on time for store and route deliveries. Coordinate closely with the General Manager and Route Manager. Team Leadership Supervise and develop production employees including: Dry-cleaning pressers Laundry pressers Silk and specialty-garment pressers Washers Scanning/assembly employees Quality-control and bagging employees The Production Manager is expected to: Assign daily work. Train employees. Monitor attendance and productivity. Maintain appropriate staffing levels. Hold employees accountable for quality and performance. Cross-train employees so production does not depend on one person. Work alongside the team when production volume requires it. Quality Control Maintain consistent garment-quality standards. Inspect finished garments before completion. Reduce re-cleans, re-presses and customer complaints. Ensure stains, special instructions and garment-care requirements are properly followed. Ensure delicate, silk, saree, wedding and specialty garments receive appropriate handling. Identify recurring quality problems and correct the root cause. Productivity & Labor Control Track pieces produced and labor hours. Improve pieces produced per labor hour. Schedule production labor according to workload. Minimize unnecessary overtime. Identify bottlenecks and improve plant workflow. Help management increase plant capacity without sacrificing quality. Garment Tracking & Accountability Ensure garments are properly scanned throughout production. Monitor missing or delayed garments. Ensure orders are correctly assembled before bagging. Maintain accurate order flow through the production system. Investigate production discrepancies immediately. Equipment & Plant Standards Monitor equipment condition and report problems immediately. Coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs with management. Maintain a clean, safe and organized production facility. Enforce company safety procedures. Ensure employees properly use production equipment. Key Performance Indicators Performance will be measured using: On-time production percentage Pieces produced Pieces per labor hour Production labor percentage Re-clean/re-press rate Quality-control failures Missing-garment incidents Customer complaints related to production Overtime Employee productivity and attendance Plant cleanliness and organization
Qualifications Preferred:
3+ years of dry-cleaning, commercial laundry, garment-care or similar production experience. Previous supervisory or management experience. Strong understanding of production workflow. Experience managing pressers, washers, assembly or finishing teams. Ability to recognize garment-quality problems. Strong leadership and communication skills. Comfortable using production/POS technology and scanning systems. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Dry-cleaning plant experience is strongly preferred. Schedule Full-Time Schedule will be based on plant production requirements. Flexibility may occasionally be required during high-volume periods. Compensation Competitive salary based on dry-cleaning production and management experience.
