This role is part of Alcon's Engineering function, a team focused on improving quality, processes, products, packaging and materials across our business to help deliver brilliant outcomes. The Supervisor, Automation & Control Engineering (Management Path), is primarily responsible for leading a team in designing, developing, and maintaining instrument/electrical and automation control systems. You will apply control theory, analyze system behavior, and ensure efficient task completion. Strong supervisory skills, communication, and problem-solving are essential. In this role, a typical day will include: Oversee team members in designing, developing, implementing, operating, and maintaining control systems in manufacturing Support and manager team of automation technicians that support 24/7 facility Ensure efficient task completion and adherence to processes Make day-to-day decisions affecting team members Foster a culture of excellence through performance management and talent development Drive positive employee relations and enhance engagement and recognition Ensure adherence to GxP regulations and Standard Operating Procedures Maintain accurate documentation and rigorous quality control Complete all required training and meet individual job requirements

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON

Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs; Assoc.+16yrs; M.S.+0 yrs) The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English 2 Years of Relevant Experience 1
