12-Hour Rotating Night Shift (3 Days On / 4 Days On Rotation)

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Production Supervisor to oversee night shift operations, drive team performance, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Position Overview As the Night Shift Production Supervisor, you will lead and develop production employees while ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and productivity goals are consistently achieved. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, problem solver, and coach who leads by example and enjoys working closely with teams on the production floor. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, mentor, and develop production team members to achieve performance and production goals Promote a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement Implement and maintain best practices to improve operational efficiency and consistency across shifts Drive performance in the areas of Safety, Quality, Service, Cost, and Production Monitor daily production activities and ensure production schedules are met Identify and resolve operational issues through effective troubleshooting and decision-making Conduct regular Gemba walks, safety audits, and quality inspections Track and analyze key performance indicators, including attendance, machine efficiency, scrap rates, and productivity metrics Prepare daily and monthly production reports Collaborate with maintenance, quality, engineering, and other departments to support plant objectives and continuous improvement efforts Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards Qualifications Previous leadership experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop employees Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) Experience with ERP systems; SAP experience is a plus Knowledge of safety programs, quality systems, and continuous improvement methodologies preferred
