Pay:

$72,000•$75,000/year Penmac Staffing is hiring a Production Supervisor for a direct-hire opportunity with a leading manufacturing facility in Gainesville, TX. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced work environment and is comfortable working in a 24/7 production setting.

Additional Schedule Expectations:

Every other weekend required Expected to work holidays (additional pay provided on top of salary) Mandatory 7:00 AM Thursday meetings (remote/Teams option available if off shift) Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee all daily production operations for assigned shift, ensuring efficient workflow and minimal downtime Supervise, coach, and develop a team of 8-20 employees, including training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions Drive and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including safety, quality, productivity, OEE, scrap reduction, and on-time delivery Ensure strict adherence to OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and all compliance standards Plan and coordinate staffing levels, schedules, and shift coverage to meet production demands Conduct shift start-up meetings, communicate goals, and provide updates on performance and priorities Maintain a strong presence on the production floor to address issues in real time and support team members Identify and troubleshoot production issues, implementing corrective actions to minimize disruptions Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen events Collaborate cross-functionally with maintenance, quality, and operations teams to optimize processes and resolve challenges Ensure product quality standards are consistently met and support root cause analysis for defects or nonconformance Track and complete production reports, shift summaries, and documentation accurately and on time Promote a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work culture focused on performance and safety Support onboarding and training of new employees to ensure proper procedures and safety practices are followed Monitor equipment and escalate maintenance needs proactively to reduce downtime What We're Looking For Minimum 3 years of Production Supervisor experience Previous manufacturing experience highly preferred (24/7 environment preferred) Experience in a fast-paced production environment Strong background in Lean manufacturing / process improvement Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP/SAP experience is a plus Work Environment Manufacturing/production floor setting Not a temperature-controlled environment Requires standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs Exposure to noise, temperature variations, and PPE requirements Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary: $72,000•$75,000 annually Day 1
