We are looking for a motivated individual with strong commercial roofing sheet metal experience who can lead crews, maintain high-quality workmanship, and ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently. This position offers year-round work and opportunities for advancement within a well-established company. Responsibilities Lead and supervise sheet metal crews on commercial roofing projects. Install and oversee the installation of coping, fascia, edge metal, gravel stops, gutters, downspouts, collector boxes, flashings, and other custom sheet metal components. Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications. Ensure work is completed according to ANSI/SPRI, SMACNA, and manufacturer requirements. Coordinate daily activities with superintendents, project managers, and other trades. Maintain quality control and ensure work is completed safely and on schedule. Train and mentor crew members while promoting a positive work environment. Track crew attendance and communicate material needs to the shop and management team. Maintain responsibility for tools, equipment, and jobsite materials. Communicate professionally with customers, general contractors, and field personnel when needed. Complete required jobsite documentation and reports.
Qualifications Required:
Minimum 5 years of commercial roofing sheet metal experience. Previous leadership or foreman experience preferred. Ability to read and understand blueprints and shop drawings. Knowledge of commercial roofing sheet metal systems and details. Ability to accurately use a tape measure and perform basic math. Experience with hand tools and power tools. Strong communication and leadership skills. Ability to speak, read, and write English. Valid driver's license and clean driving record (for company drivers).
Preferred:
Ability to speak Spanish is a plus. Forklift, Telehandler, and Scissor Lift certifications.

Ability to work on knees and perform detailed work for extended periods. Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, and varying weather conditions. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
