About the Opportunity A growing manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead daily operations within its Paint & Finishing department. This individual will oversee production employees, ensure quality and safety standards are met, and drive continuous improvement across the finishing operation. The ideal candidate has experience supervising teams in a manufacturing environment involving industrial paint, coatings, finishing, powder coating, or surface treatment processes . Responsibilities Supervise daily production activities within the Paint & Finishing department. Lead, coach, and develop production employees to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals. Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining operational efficiency. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify opportunities to improve throughput and reduce waste. Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations teams to resolve production issues. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve performance. Maintain compliance with company safety policies, environmental regulations, and quality standards. Train employees on equipment, processes, and standard operating procedures. Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience in paint, coatings, finishing, powder coating, surface treatment, or industrial finishing operations . Strong understanding of production scheduling, workflow management, and manufacturing processes. Experience with spray application systems, coating equipment, or automated finishing processes. Knowledge of quality standards, coating inspection, and process control. Ability to analyze production data and use KPIs to improve operational performance. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experience with ERP or manufacturing software is preferred.
