Lead Ice Cream Maker

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Ice Cream Maker and Scooper to oversee the creation and production of high-quality, delicious ice cream products. In this dynamic role, you will lead a team of skilled artisans, ensuring that every batch meets rigorous food safety standards while maintaining innovative flavors and textures. Your expertise will drive the development of new recipes, optimize manufacturing processes, and uphold sanitation and quality control protocols. MUST have open availability. MUST be willing to work until 11:00 PM.

MUST HAVE FOOD SHIFT LEAD EXPERIENCE

Lead the ice cream production process from ingredient preparation to final packaging, ensuring efficiency and consistency. Supervise and train team members on proper food processing techniques, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols. Develop and refine recipes, experimenting with flavors, textures, and ingredients to create innovative products. Oversee sanitation practices within the production area, maintaining a clean environment that adheres to industry regulations. Manage equipment maintenance, mechanical troubleshooting, and proper operation of machinery such as mixers, pasteurizers, and packaging lines. MUST be able to obtain a Food Manager license. MUST have open availability. MUST be willing to work until 11:00 PM. Skills Prove experience as a shift lead. Ice Cream or dessert industry a plus. Proven experience leading a team and cultivating a good work culture. Experience opening and closing a store. Excellent leadership skills with experience supervising teams in a fast-paced setting.
