Since our beginning over 50 years ago, WeldFit has become a leading manufacturer of standard and custom products for the pipeline, refining and petrochemical industries. Headquartered in Houston, Texas, our products are used around the world. Known for quality and reliability. WeldFit is looking for a motivated Manufacturing Coordinator to join our team! This role will help monitor and keep up with production, doing the below duties.
Duties/Expectations:
Working with other managers to address production issues that may arise during the manufacturing process Communicating with suppliers regarding changes in materials or equipment needed to support production needs Reviewing production schedules to ensure that all tasks are completed on time Monitoring inventory levels to ensure that materials are available to meet production requirements Ensuring that all safety requirements are met in all manufacturing processes Coordinating with shipping companies to arrange for delivery of completed goods to customers Reviewing work orders to ensure that all manufacturing processes are completed correctly Establishing relationships with vendors to ensure that materials are available when needed
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Required Skills:
Basic Computer Skills Customer Service Skills Problem Solving Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand and sit for long periods of time Must be able to work in a hot, noisy and busy environment
