Production Supervisor (Day Shift) -

6:00 AM-6:30 PM on a 2-2-3 schedule Alumanate is a U.S.-based manufacturer of aluminum composite panels (ACM) serving the signage, architectural, and transportation industries. Operating a 24/7 manufacturing facility, we are committed to producing high-quality products while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. We are seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead day shift operations in our fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring safe operations, consistent product quality, and achievement of production goals while maintaining accountability across the shift. Position Summary The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all day shift production activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role ensures safe operations, consistent product quality, and achievement of production targets while maintaining accountability across the shift. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate production activities across assigned lines during the day shift Enforce all safety policies, including proper use of PPE, and ensure timely reporting of incidents, hazards, and near misses Ensure all products meet established quality standards, including dimensions, flatness, surface condition, and bond strength Monitor production performance, including output, uptime, and scrap, and take corrective action as needed Conduct start-of-shift and periodic audits of line conditions, process compliance, and quality checks Identify production or equipment issues and coordinate resources to minimize downtime Assign labor effectively based on production schedules and operational needs Maintain accurate shift reporting, including production output, scrap, downtime, and key issues Enforce attendance, performance expectations, and workplace standards Ensure effective communication and handoff between shifts Support and maintain 5S and overall plant organization standards Coach and develop employees to improve performance and strengthen the team Qualifications 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment required Experience in continuous or high-speed production operations preferred Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage hourly production employees Ability to identify production issues and drive timely resolution through effective coordination and leadership Comfortable working in a floor-based leadership role with regular presence in production areas Basic understanding of production metrics and performance tracking Experience in extrusion, plastics, metals, or similar industrial processes is a plus Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus Compensation Competitive compensation based on experience Opportunity for growth within a rapidly expanding manufacturing company Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) with
